MALAWI OMBUDSMAN RELEASES “THE PRESENT TOILING, THE FUTURE OVERBURDENED”

On 14th October, 2014, Malawi Ombudsman Martha Chizuma Mwangonde released a Report on an investigation into allegations of maladministration and related irregularities on the purchase and disposal of Farm Machinery under India line of credit worth 50 million United States Dollars titled “The Present Toiling, The Future Overburdened”.

The report contains findings and remedial actions on maladministration and irregularities on the purchase and disposal of Sonalika Farm Machinery bought from Apollo International. The office briefly shared the report with some of the media houses at its head office, Lilongwe.
