The African Ombudsman and Mediators Association (AOMA) congratulates the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, Dr. Abiy Ahmed, on being awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace 2019 by the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

The well-deserved recognition of the Prime Minister’s efforts to achieve peace and resolve the border conflict with neighbouring Eritrea is proof that a peaceful and stable Africa is possible.
